NSL (est. 1998), is owned by Lisa Vaughan, an ex HR Director with an MA in Human Resource Management and a qualified NNEB who has worked with children of all ages & abilities.
NSL is managed by Kelle Roffe a qualified Nursery Nurse with extensive administration skills due to her previous PA and marketing assistant roles. Kelle understands what it's like to be a working mum as she juggles work around her six year old stepson and one year old daughter.

As we are family run we therefore, are very flexible to the needs of our clients. We understand that the needs of our clients are all different. We work closely with our families at the start of the business relationship to ensure we gain an in-depth understanding of what our clients want; what sort of person they are looking for and what sort of tasks the need help with; be it helping raise the children or looking after the family household. We work on all different types of contracts. From clients who need a long term permanent, full time member of staff to clients who just need someone short term to help them during an extremely busy or difficult time in their lives (when a friendly, helping hand gets them through the maze).
We pride ourselves on our high standards and we have high expectations of our staff. We interview all our staff personally. We check and verify all references, check qualifications, IDs and permits and ensure all our staff are enhanced CRB checked. We also offer extensive training to our staff which includes first aid, safeguarding children, manual handling, managing challenging behaviour etc.

If required, we can assist you with writing advertisements, placing them and managing the response. You will pay for the costs of the advertisement only plus any introduction fees for successful candidates.
NSL’s babysitting fees are either a one-off booking fee of £10 each time you require our service, or a quarterly membership fee of £20 to have access to experienced and/or qualified childcarers whenever you need them. If you have a membership with us you will not pay anything else for using our service until you need to renew your membership.
You can renew your membership every quarter. These payments can be made straight to our bank (sort code 16 24 48 Account number 10070737 Nursery Staff Ltd), by cash or cheque.

All of our babysitters have been personally interviewed, have a childcare qualification and/or relevant experience, enhanced CRB (police checked) and reference checked. NSL provide training in first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding children, challenging behaviour and manual handling. We also specialise in caring for children with disabilities and special needs.
The babysitter will come to your home at the agreed time. At the end of that time you will pay the babysitter for the hours they have worked, rounded up to the next quarter of an hour.
The rate that you pay the babysitter is your choice and is agreed when the booking is made but we would advise the below info on hourly rates which is inclusive of any travelling costs.

Weekdays: £5.95 per hour
Saturdays: £6.45 per hour
For special occassions/dates such as Christmas, New Years Eve, Valentines Day, babysitting at a temporary address or hotel, bookings made with less than 4 hours notice and bookings made before 6pm the hourly rate will be negotiated at the time.
This is a short term supply to cover sickness/holidays etc. A member of our staff will work the hours you require, submit a signed timesheet to us and we pay the salary, tax and NI contributions. We raise an invoice for the amount of hours worked which is billed to you. You do not pay for breaks, sickness or holidays.

Appleberry Care specialises in the provision of carers to provide support to families who have children with disabilities, additional needs or special needs. This support is provided in the home or our staff take the child/ren out providing a safe and secure environment for the children to develop in whilst giving the parent/s a much needed break.
Support can be provided any time during a 24 hour day – early morning, daytime, tea time, bath time, evenings, nights, weekends or during school holidays.
Quite often this support is provided by Nursery Nurses who already have a permanent job but wish to enhance their own personal development or boost their income during their spare time.
We can offer any training to suit your needs such as first aid, health and safety, food hygiene awareness, manual handling, managing challenging behaviour, epilepsy awareness, special needs training, autism awareness to external companies.
